Giuseppe Barbosa Guimarães
Executive director and founder
Civil Engineer from UFPB, 1977, Master in Structures from PUC-Rio, 1980, Ph.D in Concrete Structures from Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, 1988. He started his professional career in 1980 as a Design Engineer at Las Casas Engenharia de Projetos Ltda, Belo Horizonte, and as Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at PUC-MG. At Las Casas he designed buildings and bridges and at PUC-MG he taught the disciplines Material Strength, Theory of Structures and Reinforced Concrete I. He was a professor at PUC-Rio from 1982 to 2014 where he taught disciplines in the area of reinforced and prestressed concrete, in graduate and postgraduate courses, and supervised Master and Doctoral theses. During this period he continued to work as a design engineer. From 1997, he concentrated his consultancy work in the area of project verification / auditing. He founded GBG Engenharia e Consultoria in 2002.
Julia Figueiredo Genovesi
Project Engineer
Civil Engineer from PUC-Rio, 2015, Master in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structures from PUC-Rio, 2018. She has been a professor at Santa Úrsula University since 2018 where she teaches the technology discipline - structures for the Architecture and Urbanism course. She has been working in the Structural Engineering area since 2015 and is a partner at GBG Engenharia e Consultoria since 2018.
Pedricto da Rocha Filho

Civil Engineer from the Federal University of Bahia, 1971, Master in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, 1973, Master in Soil Mechanics, 1976, and PhD in Civil Engineering, 1979, both from Imperial College of Science and Technology, Universidade from London. He is currently an associate professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Has experience in the area of Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Geotechnics, acting mainly on the following themes: piles, dam, rockfill, instrumentation and foundations.

Post-doctorate at Technische Universität Dresden in 2010 and is currently a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Has experience in the area of Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Composite Materials. He is a member of the Technical Committee ACI 544 (Fiber Reinforced Concrete), Rilem TC-TRC (Textile Reinforced Concrete) and Rilem TC-HFC (High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites).
